This is my atelier. 🌸

I’m not very good at explaining my art with words.
Maybe because I already put so much of myself into my work through my hands, colors, flowers, paint, and thread.

So I don’t want to speak too much.
I only want to add a few small words beside my work.

I hope people from around the world will come here, stand in front of these walls, and feel something for themselves.

The snow in Myoko, Niigata has melted.
Flowers are everywhere now, and the air feels so fresh.

Some people say there is nothing here.
But I think there is something very important here.

ここは私のアトリエ。🌸

私は、自分の作品を言葉で説明するのがあまり得意ではありません。
きっと、手を通して、色や花や絵や糸の中に、たくさんの気持ちを込めているから。

だから私は、たくさん語りたいわけじゃない。
作品のそばに、少しだけ言葉を添えるくらいがちょうどいいと思っています。

この壁の前で、世界中の人たちが何かを感じてくれたら嬉しいです。

妙高、新潟の雪は溶けて、花がたくさん咲いています。
空気もとても気持ちいい季節です。

「何もない場所」って言う人もいるけれど、
私はここに、大切なものがたくさんあると思っています。
