これは手描き友禅の作品です。

手描き友禅は、一般的には着物に使われる技法ですが、

私はこの技法をもっと自由に表現したいと思い、日傘に取り入れました。

手描き友禅に興味がある方にも、まだ知らない方にも、

この作品を通して魅力を感じてもらえたら嬉しいです。

さらに、フランス刺繍やビーズ刺繍を加えることで、

「ちくちく」らしいアート作品として仕上げています。

一度は日傘の制作をやめましたが、

この夏、再び新しい日傘の作品が生まれます。

8月の展示会に向けて制作しています。

This is a hand-painted Yuzen artwork.

Yuzen is usually used for kimono,

but I wanted to express it in a more free and creative way,

so I applied it to a parasol.

I hope people who already love Yuzen,

and also people who are new to it,

can feel its beauty through my work.

I also added French embroidery and bead embroidery

to create a “Chiku-Chiku” style art piece.

I once stopped making parasols,

but this summer, they are coming back again.

I am creating these works for my exhibition in August.
